Esoteric Acupuncture - What to Expect
I Think I Feel Something!
Acupuncture is an art. The practice takes a lifetime to understand and every time I conduct an acupuncture session on a client, I am usually amazed by the effects.

What can I expect in a remote acupuncture session?
I am on the phone with the client and have the client in a relaxed position before we connect on the phone.
We have a chat about what is going on and where we think I could help.
I see the person in front of me and I begin to put in “energetic acupuncture needles.” I see the needles and I use a snap of my fingers to put them into the energetic body of the client. I can see the points, I can see them placed and I turn them to tonify the Qi or reduce the Qi.
Then I use a pendulum over the person. I usually begin where the physical pain is or I may hear my heart say for example, “start at the abdomen instead of the knee.”
I have learned to trust this intuition and go with the flow. The pendulum will circle, make geometric designs, move back and forth and sometimes spin extremely fast.
I quietly describe to the person what is happening with the pendulum and explain what I understand from my intuition.
I just let the energy flow through me.
Clients feel physical and energetic sensations.
“I had a terrible headache that lasted for several days and nothing seemed to relieve the pain. I tried using ibuprofen and then acetaminophen; I even used some of my tried-and-true herbal remedies. A client can feel warming sensations in their body or tingling. Every person is different. Every session is different so I am open to anything that happens. Sometimes it will take a day or two to feel better. This also occurs with acupuncture in person.
A majority of the time, it takes 2-4 sessions for an issue to clear and then basic maintenance sessions to keep the client’s Qi flowing in a healthy manner. We heal from the newest issue to the very old issues. From outside to within. Spiritually, I believe that esoteric acupuncture dives into the root of the issue faster. Healing is on a deeper level.
What can I expect from an in-person session?
I often travel to my clients in the Lander, WY area. I go to homes, offices, or car if need be! I also treat clients in my personal treatment space that is calming and comfortable. In-person, esoteric acupuncture is a lot like the remote process described above.
I use my intuition and channel Lao Tzu to help me understand what needs to be done. I often “sense” where a needle needs to be placed. Or, I can see a pattern of some sort that spiritually connects the subtle body. These places correspond to the chinese system of acupuncture points.
As the needles go into the body, the client becomes very relaxed and has different sensations.
Sometimes they will ask me if I had put a needle in a place where I haven’t! And, it is usually a place on the same Meridian path so I know the energy is moving.
Some people get warm, some people get cold and most people want to fall asleep. This gives me great feedback on what is happening in their body and mind.

I am still shy about using my pendulum in in-person sessions as a manner to respect a client’s beliefs. I don’t want to surprise anyone. So, sometimes I use the pendulum and sometimes I don’t. The intention is always to reach the deep well of spiritual healing for the body/mind/spirit.
In a nutshell, I am a tool, a vessel to help a person to find their “wholeness” within themselves, to find that spark of the Tao and discover why they are in this world.
